November 2020: Partnership and funding announcement
After the launch of the closed beta version of the platform in August this year, DetektivKollektiv reaches another important milestone: The organisation Campact, founded in 2004, now officially supports the development of DetektivKollektiv with a significant amount of 150.000 EUR. This funding will enable us to further develop our product and make it available to the general public more quickly, especially in the run up to the German federal elections in autumn 2021.
Thanks to the new partnership with Campact, DetektivKollektiv is able to free additional capacities in order to advance the development of the platform faster: While Patrick Müller will be working full-time on all tech-relevant issues in the future, Marie Schröter, can devote herself to the areas of concept development, public relations and team management. Patrick and Marie are part of the founding team.
Despite this, DetektivKollektiv will continue to rely strongly on the contributions of its volunteering members.
We thank Campact for their generous support and trust and look forward to working together.
